"I've been a professional musician for almost 20 years, but never wanted to put my name front and center on a record or project. Maybe it was a feint at thwarting vanity, maybe it was the feeling that you can do more interesting work when the work is seperate from who you are. Whatever it was - I was young then and I'm older now. This record walked with me, hand-in-hand, through five years lf stops and starts. The reason it's called "Dedication Songs" isn't just because the songs are dedicated to someone else (though they are) but because the record took dedication, fidelity to complete. Every record does, but this one felt right. So enjoy."

"OroborO is an experimental art rock outfit based out of Western Massachusetts. On January 12th, we released our anticipated first record Laughing Death, recorded at Ghost Hit Recording in Holyoke. It is a knotting, evolving, and dense endeavor. Laughing Death offers a powerhouse rhythm section, melodic bass hooks, Emily's captivating, explosive vocals, and guitars that pivot from wailing noise to lulling warbles in abhorrent mania. Heavy grooves, complex quirky jams, and airy melodic breaks tradeoff and build into the eclectic nightmare that is OroborO"

Laughing Death is streaming on their soundcloud, bandcamp, Spotify, itunes and all major streaming services.
"Ghosts of Sailors at Sea is an instrumental band from Boston made up of four long time friends. During the summer of 2015, the band completed recording their second lp Red Sky Morning with engineer J Robbins (Jawbox/Burning Airlines) at his Magpie Cage studio in Baltimore. Shortly after returning home, the band was invited by the website Metal Sucks to record some additional material with engineer Kurt Ballou (Converge) in Boston. Wanting to focus on promoting Red Sky Morning at the time, the Ballou recordings were held on to for a future release. After touring with Brooklyn’s Reindeer Castle, the bands began talk of a split, and this provided the perfect opportunity for releasing the song ‘Harry McNish’ from the Ballou session. The songs are backed by Reindeer Castle’s ‘Flight of the Salmon’ and ‘Kamchatka’ and the record should be out in March. The download of the record will include a bonus surprise from each band."
